Tweed Valley Volcanoes
About the Program
The Tweed Valley Volcanoes representative program offers a pathway for our talented athletes to develop and compete against other associations in our region and New South Wales.
For these athletes there are higher expectations and demands, whether it be in development, performance or upholding Tweed Valley Basketball’s values.
At the junior levels our representative teams range from the Under 12’s to Under 18’s age groups. These teams compete in the Basketball New South Wales (BNSW) sanctioned Waratah League competitions for our region — the North Eastern Junior League (Division 1) and the Northern Junior League (Division 2).
We also provide a senior representative program for both men and women, all of which compete in the Sunshine Conference competition.
Code of Conduct
TVBA adheres to the Basketball New South Wales (BNSW) Code of Conduct which is bound by Basketball Australia’s (BA) National Integrity Framework. It is essential that all players, parents and spectators adhere to this Code of Conduct.
Our codes of behaviour are underpinned by the following core values:
To act within the rules and spirit of our sport.
To display respect and courtesy towards everyone involved in our sport and prevent discrimination and harassment.
To prioritise the safety and well-being of children and young people in our sport.
To encourage and support opportunities for participation in all aspects of our sport.

Leave what happens on the court, on the court.
Be the bigger person, shake hands and be polite, no matter the outcome.
